Job description

Nashville General Hospital is hiring for a Care-Partner/CNA for Telemetry as a Full-time Nights in Nashville, TN.
  
This Care Partner position will be a Certified Nursing Assistant that is primarily responsible for providing direct care for assigned patients under the supervision of the Registered Nurse. A care partner/CNA gets direction from a licensed nurse to assist the patient with needs and tasks. 
 
Care-Partner/CNA Roles and Responsibilities:  
  • Taking and recording patient vitals
  • Helping patients with daily tasks, including getting dressed and using the restroom
  • Monitoring patient progress and maintaining health records
  • Fostering strong relationships with patients and making patients feel comfortable
  • Aiding communication between patients and healthcare teams
  • Communicating with the patient's family
  • Helping patients plan for hospital discharge
Required Skills & Qualifications:  
  
  • Licensure by the State of Tennessee as a Certified Nursing Assistant 
  • BLS Required 
  • High School Diploma (Equivalent) or Higher Required
