Why this Role is Important:

Budderfly installs a variety of advanced technologies to save energy on our customers' sites. Ensuring that these technologies operate efficiently and without issue is vital to the success the organization. This role is for a key player among the impactful team which is tasked with ensuring that these technologies continue to operate at the utmost efficiency. They will do this by identifying and reporting root cause issues and business trends for the Service team. The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. Business Process Specialist responsibilities include conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities, and design. Business Process Specialist will develop analysis and reporting capabilities. They will monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements. This role will also be pivotal in designing and implementing the Service team training curriculum for technical team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Works with the Technical Services team to collect and present data in a functional format. This includes identifying the systems which can currently report data and those which require external support to harness the data needed.
  • Collaborates with executives and other business leaders to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Uses graphs, infographics, and other methods to visualize data
  • Proactively shares potential issues and inefficient operations with internal team members through verbal and non-verbal communication.
  • Develops and executes technical training curriculum for the Service team and continuously updates curriculum to match business needs
  • Develops and monitors training evaluation effectiveness.
  • Designs, develops, indexes, and maintains process and technical documentation.
  • Monitors end-user feedback, process changes and systems development efforts to facilitate continuing improvement of training and documentation.
  • Analyzes business processes with subject matter experts. Identifies supporting technology needs, and documents new processes. Promotes the use of technology and technology tools to support continued efficiency and improvement in departmental processes.
    • This includes collaborating with the Software Development team (and others) to successfully plan requirements for initiatives and ensure business needs are met through the rollout of each initiative
    • Maintaining and further improving rollouts in CRM (HubSpot), WOMs (FSG, InJobs, future SiteTracker), and other business systems is a key example
  • Maintains online content including coordinating, updating and maintaining user interfaces, documenting processes, and policies.
  • Promotes training opportunities and resources to employees.
  • Coordinates training, documentation, and talent management system efforts with other district training resources.
  • Keeps daily logs and records of all functions in Company systems
  • Lead improvement projects with the software development team based on data analysis
  • Collaborate with leadership to devise strategies aimed at enhancing operational efficiency
  • Leverage project management improvement methodologies to implement and propel growth initiatives

Compensation
$65,000—$80,000 USD

Compensation is based on factors including level of experience, skillset, qualifications, and location.
