They perform tasks such as monitoring patient health, administering medications, assisting with daily living activities, and keeping patient records. Methodist LPNs typically work as part of a team in various settings, including hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities, and are expected to uphold the values and standards of the Methodist healthcare organization.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Methodist LPN?

To thrive as a Methodist Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you need a valid LPN license, strong clinical skills in patient care, and a thorough understanding of medical procedures. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, medication administration tools, and basic medical equipment is typically required. Compassion, communication, and teamwork are essential soft skills for providing holistic care within a faith-based healthcare environment. These skills and qualifications are crucial for ensuring safe, high-quality patient outcomes and supporting the mission of Methodist healthcare organizations.
