Job description

The duties and responsibilities of the Licensed Practical Nurse include assisting the professional nurse in the planning, directing and supervising of resident care, providing direct nursing care to residents and to supervising the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants and orderlies within the Methodist Senior Services. Such care and supervision will be in accordance with state and federal rules and regulations and as outlined in established policies and procedures at Methodist Senior Services, to maximize fulfilling the care-giving needs of residents. The person(s) holding this position is delegated the responsibility for carrying out the assigned duties and responsibilities. Shifts for the open positions are 7p-7a (2), 3p-11p (1) and 11p-7a (1)
