One of the leading Electric utility company in Baltimore, MD.

Job Description

This position will support meter and field activity analysis and resolution utilizing multiple systems such as Customer Care and Billing, C3, UIQ, MDM and Microsoft Access.

Qualifications

The contractor will support the investigation for missing AMI devices.

They are devices that are putting out a signal but were not reported properly during installation. The contractor will be responsible for locating the exact location of the device.
Position is responsible for determining why meters are not communicating with each other, utilizing the AMI NO Read Database, created internally
The contractor will investigate possible reasons and create a ticket to start field activity by submitting an FA (Field Activity). In order for the meters to read, they must be near each other in clusters
Bachelor's degree is required
Requires analytical skills, prior Microsoft Excel experience with formulas and pivot tables.
Contractor will communicate verbally and written with other areas of the business
Contractor should generally be tech savvy and able to pick up on new software systems quickly
4-5+ years of experience required.
RF tech background is a plus
Gas and electric industry experience a plus
Contractor must be able to work independently and handle work challenges effectively
