Êtes-vous un(e) ingénieur(e) ou un(e) technologue ou un(e) technicien(ne) en mécanique ou métallurgie, maîtrisant parfaitement les dessins mécaniques et le dimensionnement et tolérancement géométrique (GD&T) ? Avez-vous un excellent relationnel et le sens du service client, et souhaitez-vous combiner ces deux compétences ? De plus, aimeriez-vous rejoindre un important fabricant aérospatial dans la région de Montréal ? Si oui, notre client serait ravi de vous rencontrer. Il recherche une personne qui assurera la liaison avec ses clients américains tout au long du processus, dès la demande de devis à la production, un processus qui dure généralement six mois. Vous serez en contact avec les équipes des ventes, de l’estimation, de l’ingénierie et de la production, supervisant ainsi le processus initial, garantissant des devis précis, une communication claire et une coordination sans faille dès la demande de devis à la mise en production des composants aérospatiaux et de défense. Vous devrez posséder un diplôme d'ingénieur en mécanique ou métallurgie, une connaissance des normes GD&T, la capacité de lire et d'interpréter des dessins techniques, une maîtrise des applications MS Office, notamment Word et Excel, ainsi qu'une expérience en milieu industriel ou de production, préférablement en service client ou support commercial B2B et une expérience dans un environnement ERP.    Le bilinguisme anglais-français, avec une parfaite maîtrise de l'anglais à l'écrit comme à l'oral, est indispensable pour communiquer avec la clientèle internationale.  De plus, notre client recherche une personne éloquente, fiable, dotée d'un grand souci du détail, et patiente avec les clients.  Vous devez réussir les vérifications de sécurité obligatoires et satisfaire aux exigences de conformité, notamment la citoyenneté canadienne ou le statut de résident permanent, pour les travaux impliquant des informations techniques confidentielles.  Ce poste ne permet pas le télétravail, votre présence à l'usine étant essentielle pour résoudre les problèmes d'ingénierie et de production.

CUSTOMER LIAISON ENGINEER/ TECHNOLOGIST / TECHNICIAN
Are you a mechanical or metallurgical engineer or technologist or technician who's very familiar with mechanical drawings and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) ?    Are you equally people- and customer-oriented that you see yourself combining the two talents ?  Furthermore, would you like to join a leading aerospace manufacturer in the Montreal area?  If so, our client will very much like to speak with you.  Our client is looking for an individual who will liaise with their American clients regarding the process from the quotations stage right through to production, a process which often takes 6 months.  You will interface with sales, estimating, engineering and production, in a way overseeing the initial process, ensuring accurate quotes, clear communication, and smooth coordination as as aerospace and defence components move from inquiry to production readiness.  You will need a mechanical or metallurgical engineering diploma or degree, knowledge of GD&T, ability to read and interpret technical drawings, proficiency with MS Office applications, particularly Word and Excel, experience in manufacturing or an industrial environment, preferably with customer service or sales-support in a B2B setting with experience in an ERP environment.  Bilingual English and French with full fluency in English both written and spoken to communicate with international clients.  Furthermore, our client is looking for someone articulate, reliable with strong attention to detail, and patient with customers.  You must also successfully complete mandatory security screenings and meet compliance requirements including Canadian citizenship or Permanent Resident status for work involving restricted technical information.  This position offers no work from home as your presence in the plant is critical to solve problems for engineering and production.
Salary:  60-95k depending on education and experience.  Our client offers generous social benefits.
