Job description

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced sheet metal fabrication shop worker to perform all aspects of our sheet metal fabrication operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for working independently or alongside a team of skilled technicians to ensure that all projects are completed on time, to the required quality standards, and within budget.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain quality control processes to ensure that products meet customer specifications and company standards.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, identifying potential safety hazards and taking appropriate corrective action.
  • Coordinate with shop foreman to ensure that all project requirements are met, and that work is delivered on time.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in sheet metal fabrication/welding experience is a plus.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to work in a team.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
  • Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and equipment, including press brakes, shears, and welding equipment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
Qualifications:
  • Must be able to lift and carry heavy materials and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and under tight deadlines.
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
