Job description

2nd Shift Saw Operator

Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

Pay Range: $24–$26/hour

We are currently seeking an experienced and dependable Saw Operator to join our manufacturing team on 2nd shift. This role is ideal for a skilled candidate with CNC machining or industrial saw operation experience who takes pride in precision, quality, and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Set up, load, and operate industrial saws and/or CNC equipment efficiently and safely
  • Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
  • Perform quality inspections using precision measuring tools
  • Monitor machine performance and make offsets, calibrations, and adjustments as needed
  • Change blades, bits, and inserts to maintain production efficiency
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following all company safety procedures
Qualifications
  • Previous experience operating CNC machines (mills, lathes, routers) or industrial saws required
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing and machining processes
  • Experience performing quality inspections and maintaining tight tolerances
  • Ability to use precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and tape measures
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
