Job description

The expected pay range for a Custom Metal Roofing (CMR) Sheet Metal Fabricator Specialist in Keaau is $18.50 - $21.15 per hour.

HPM Building Supply in Keaau, Hawaii is seeking to hire a full-time Custom Metal Roofing (CMR) Sheet Metal Fabricator Specialist in our Custom Metal Roofing department to provide our customers with efficient, quality metal flashing products to meet their diverse needs. Working with various types of metals, the Sheet Metal Fabricator Specialist completes flashing orders from start to finish from loading the coil and cutting the sheets to fabricating the metal on our Ras Bender to helping keep accurate inventory records.

The typical schedule is Monday-Friday 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM. Some overtime as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous manufacturing experience is helpful but not required
  • Forklift certification or ability to be forklift certified
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Physical requirements include the ability to twist, bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder and stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Ability to work in our outdoor warehouse in various weather conditions
