Metal Men are skilled workers who fabricate, install, and repair structures made from metal. They often work with materials such as steel, aluminum, and copper, using tools like welders, cutters, and grinders. Metal Men are essential in industries such as construction, manufacturing, and shipbuilding, where they create frameworks, supports, and other components. Their work requires precision, technical knowledge, and adherence to safety protocols to produce strong and durable metal products.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a metal man, and why are they important?

To excel as a Metal Man, you need expertise in metal fabrication, welding, blueprint reading, and a solid understanding of safety protocols, often supported by vocational training or apprenticeships. Familiarity with tools like MIG/TIG welders, plasma cutters, grinders, and sometimes relevant certifications such as AWS (American Welding Society) are typically required.
