Job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw sheet metal into precise, high-quality components and assemblies used across various industries. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with advanced fabrication machinery, and a keen eye for detail to ensure products meet strict quality standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals committed to precision craftsmanship and safety in a dynamic production environment.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication or related manufacturing roles with a strong understanding of machining tools and techniques.
  • Proficiency in operating CNC laser cutting machines, CNC programming, plasma cutting, press brake machines, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, and other forming equipment.
  • Knowledge of GD&T principles for interpreting technical drawings accurately.
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand machine operation, setup procedures, and safety standards.
  • Familiarity with measurement techniques using precision measuring instruments for quality control purposes.
  • Basic math skills including shop math necessary for measurement calculations and part fitting.
  • Strong commitment to safety protocol adherence in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality fabricated components.
