About the Opportunity

This is a true outside sales, hunter-style role in the fast-paced and highly competitive South Florida HVAC and construction market.

The Miami territory offers significant opportunity for a driven salesperson who enjoys prospecting, opening new doors, growing share of wallet, and building long-term customer relationships. If you are motivated by autonomy, accountability, and uncapped earning potential, this role is built for you.


Position Overview

The Territory Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and growing a defined sales territory throughout the Greater Miami market. This role is focused on new business development, consistent customer engagement, and expanding market share.

You will be supported by an experienced Miami branch team, strong vendor partners, and leadership that understands outside sales and values independence, results, and professionalism.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • This role is almost exclusively in the field, calling on customers, prospecting new business, and growing relationships across the Greater Miami market

  • Prospect, pursue, and onboard new customers throughout South Florida

  • Achieve sales revenue, gross margin, and territory growth goals

  • Build and maintain relationships with owners, project managers, estimators, and shop managers

  • Serve as a trusted advisor by helping customers improve efficiency, workflow, and profitability

  • Maintain a consistent follow-up cadence with key and developing accounts

  • Provide product knowledge, training, and support to customer teams

  • Collaborate with branch leadership to execute strategic territory plans

  • Monitor market activity, pricing trends, and competitor offerings

  • Participate in vendor trainings, trade shows, association events, and ride-alongs


Primary Customer Segments
  • Mechanical and HVAC contractors (commercial, industrial, residential)

  • Sheet metal and duct fabrication shops

  • Multi-family and new construction contractors

  • HVAC service and replacement companies

  • Commercial roofing and specialty metal contractors


Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience

  • Minimum of 3ย years of successful B2B outside sales experience preferred, not required

  • HVAC, construction supplies, or building materials background strongly preferred

  • Proven hunter mentality with experience opening new accounts

  • Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) - Required

  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals

  • Strong communication, consultative selling, and relationship-building skills

  • Highly self-motivated and comfortable managing a territory independently

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems

  • Valid driverโ€™s license and acceptable driving record required
