Job description

Commercial/Industrial Steel Erector

Campbell Construction Inc., of Wooster/Wadsworth, Ohio is hiring skilled Commercial/Industrial Steel Erectors. We are one of NE Ohio's premier Design-Build contractors and have been in business since 1953. Candidates must have past experience working in the commercial/industrial steel erection field and currently or soon to be relocated in NE Ohio, preferably in Summit, Medina, Wayne, Ashland, Portage or Stark County. All of our work is performed in NE Ohio, which means you will be home every evening with your family.

Primary Purpose: Experienced Commercial/Industrial Steel Erector:

  • Must be certified in structural welding.
  • Fabricate, erect, install, and dismantle structural steel, iron, and reinforcing components.
  • Unload, rig, place, bolt, plumb, and weld structural steel and composite systems.
  • Install rebar, wire mesh, precast concrete, and other reinforcing materials on-site.
  • Erect pre-engineered metal buildings and install metal decking and related structural components.
  • Install stairs, handrails, catwalks, ornamental iron, guardrails, and other metal assemblies.
  • Assist with bridge, tower, and other large structural installations as needed.
