Job description

Who we are:

Nitra's mission is to build a more efficient healthcare system and the technology that makes it possible. Our goal is to provide an ecosystem of fintech and software solutions that help doctors better manage their practices, so they can have time back to focus on what matters to them most.

We operate with urgency, intensity, and ambition. The bar is high because the opportunity is massive. We expect excellence, ownership, and intellectual rigor from every team member. We move fast, make bold decisions, and hold ourselves accountable to results. At the same time, we believe great companies are built on trust and respect. Every voice matters. Every contribution counts. When we win, we win together.

We are scaling rapidly and on a clear trajectory toward becoming a unicorn this year — and beyond. Our growth is not accidental; it’s the result of disciplined execution, relentless focus, and a team that refuses to settle. We are building a category‑defining company, and we’re looking for people who want to do the most meaningful work of their careers.

If you want comfort, this isn’t the place.

If you want impact, ownership, and the chance to help build a generational fintech company, welcome.

Nitra was created by unicorn founders who have successfully scaled to thousands of customers and exited $1B+ public offerings. They are joined by an ambitious and experienced team from American Express, Citi, PayPal, Capsule, Plaid, Bloomberg, Meta, Facebook, and Mastercard. The team is backed by some of the world’s leading VCs (Andreessen Horowitz, NEA, etc.) and is supported by an expert group of advisors including the cofounders of Square and Xendit, executives from Intuit, former Governors, White House senior staffers, and a co‑founder of CityMD.

Nitra maintains a hybrid work policy, with team members working from the office four days per week and Wednesdays designated as a work‑from‑home day.

We're looking for:

A Talent Acquisition Lead to take ownership of recruiting operations and people processes during a high‑growth phase. This person will work closely with hiring managers across departments—especially Sales, Product, and Operations—to help hit headcount targets, improve candidate experience, and put in place scalable people frameworks.

You’ll lead end‑to‑end recruiting, from workforce planning, sourcing strategy, and interview design to offer execution and onboarding. You’ll define hiring criteria, build and standardize interview processes, and coach hiring managers on running consistent, fair, and effective interviews. In addition, you’ll design and implement scalable onboarding and performance‑support frameworks that enable teams to ramp quickly as we grow.

This is a highly cross‑functional, high‑impact role for a senior operator who thrives in ambiguity, is comfortable owning both strategy and execution, and is excited to help shape the future of our team and talent infrastructure.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Own day‑to‑day recruiting operations: manage scheduling, interview coordination, and candidate communication
  • Partner with hiring managers to build role profiles, scorecards, and interview plans that reflect business needs
  • Run outbound sourcing campaigns for priority roles across GTM, ops, and product teams
  • Track hiring progress against headcount targets and report weekly metrics to leadership
  • Build and maintain a high‑touch candidate experience across all roles and stages
  • Implement basic onboarding processes that give new hires a consistent and clear ramp‑up
  • Support hiring managers in improving interview calibration, candidate evaluation, and decision‑making
  • Help shape foundational people processes, including documentation for job levels, interview templates, and org‑wide hiring hygiene
  • Contribute to building a strong, values‑driven culture during a key growth period
You have:
  • 6+ years of experience in People Operations, Talent Coordination, or Recruiting—ideally at a fast‑paced SaaS company
  • A proactive, ownership‑oriented approach—you can run a process from start to finish
  • Strong attention to detail, especially when managing many moving parts and tight timelines
  • Great communication skills—you know how to make candidates feel cared for and hiring managers feel supported
  • Familiarity with tools like Lever, Greenhouse, or other ATS platforms
  • A passion for building systems and processes that scale
  • Experience supporting both GTM and technical teams is a plus
  • Comfort working in‑person with a cross‑functional team (NYC or DC preferred)
We offer:
  • Equity – Everyone at Nitra is an owner. When the company wins, you win
  • Competitive Salary – You’re the best of the best, and your salary will reflect your experience and reward your contributions to Nitra
  • Health Care – Your health comes first. We offer comprehensive health, vision, and dental insurance options.
  • Retirement Benefits – Your financial stability matters to us so we provide a generous employer 401K match
  • Nitra maintains a hybrid work policy, with team members working from the office four days per week and Wednesdays designated as a work‑from‑home day.

The base salary range for this full‑time position is $120k - $150k + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Please note that the compensation details listed reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.

Nitra values diversity. We are committed to equal opportunities and creating an inclusive environment for all our employees. We welcome applicants regardless of ethnicity, national origin or ancestry, gender, race, religious beliefs, disability, sex, sexual orientation, age, veteran status, genetic information, citizenship, or any other characteristic protected by law.
