Job description

Healthcare's helping hand.
CHG shook things up in 1979 by inventing the locum tenens staffing model. We connect doctors with patients who need their care. As the largest physician staffing firm in America, our providers treat millions of patients each year.
Our industry is growing and demand is high. This means you'll have plenty of opportunities to grow and develop in your career. Keeping healthcare healthy can be as fun as it is rewarding
CHG Healthcare is looking for a Social Media Manager to join our team. The Social Media team is responsible for driving brand awareness, consideration, and conversion across CHG Healthcare's portfolio of brands through organic, promoted, and paid social media. The team manages social presence across multiple healthcare staffing brands, connecting clinicians with the right opportunities through strategic content and community engagement. As a Social Media Manager you will own organic, promoted, and paid social media execution for select brands, build out our influencer program, and support our expansion into emerging channels. You'll also drive efficiency by bringing AI-powered workflows into the social media team. The right person for this role thinks big, isn't afraid to challenge convention, and wants to drive change that extends beyond their own team.
Responsibilities
  • In partnership with the brand team, drive the social media strategy for select brands. This includes developing annual plans and KPIs.
  • Manage organic, promoted, and paid social media for a couple of CHG's brands, including content execution, community engagement, budgeting, and performance reporting. Modify plans based on results and learnings.
  • Establish and oversee an influencer marketing program, identifying and managing partnerships that build brand credibility and expand consideration among key audiences.
  • Partner with leadership to advance emerging channels (Reddit, TikTok, social media search optimization, etc.) contributing platform-native perspective to execution and community engagement.
  • Identify and implement AI tools that create efficiencies across the social media team, from content creation and repurposing to reporting, briefing, and trend research. Serve as the team's internal resource for AI adoption and best practices.
  • Support lead gen ad testing and bottom-funnel paid social experimentation across brands as capacity allows.
  • Conduct social competitive analysis and stay current on trends to identify opportunities and inform decisions.

Qualification
  • Platform-native social media expertise with hands-on experience managing organic, promoted, and paid social across LinkedIn, Meta, and emerging platforms.
  • Experience with influencer outreach or creator partnerships.
  • Curiosity and comfort with AI tools, with the ability to identify opportunities to apply them to real team workflows and build repeatable processes.
  • Familiarity with Reddit, TikTok, or other emerging platforms from a brand or community perspective.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, balance execution with strategic thinking, and thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
  • Positive and professional team player who can effectively collaborate and build consultative relationships across the marketing division.
  • Naturally curious with an aptitude for learning.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities with a test-and-learn mindset.

Education & Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience managing social media for a brand, including hands-on experience with both organic and paid social media.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience preferred

Preferred
  • Healthcare or staffing experience.
  • Proficiency in web analytics tools (Adobe Analytics) and understanding of marketing attribution.
