Job description

The Sr. Content Strategist is responsible for creating and executing Inspire's HR content plan in alignment with business goals, people strategy and team member needs. This role manages content and communications across the employee lifecycle ensuring consistent, high-impact messaging across all channels.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner across Inspire People COEs and org to ensure content strategy aligns with larger HR roadmap/business priorities
  • Partner with enterprise communication team to define/create cohesive content strategy to embed global HR initiatives and messaging throughout Inspire while championing accessibility, inclusive language and consistency
  • Oversee content planning, HR communication calendars, and governance
  • Develop differentiated messaging rooted in audience insights and value/benefits
  • Ensure that employee-facing messaging, presentations, and other resources adhere to content strategy, corporate branding guidelines and enable HR business goals/objectives
  • Develop presentation content for HR townhalls, ILG meetings and other events
  • Establish messaging frameworks and improve content operations, workflows and quality standards
  • Manage content on company portal and ensure content libraries are updated periodically
  • Define audience segments and content needs across the team member journey
  • Coach senior HR leaders in storytelling and content strategy best practices
  • Use data and analytics to measure and optimize content performance
  • Own content investment decisions
  • Create marketing campaigns to build employee awareness of, buy-in and participation in HR solutions/initiatives

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors degree in communications, journalism, or English preferred

EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of strategic planning and stakeholder management experience in a highly matrixed business with multiple lines of business
  • 10+ years of experience managing content strategy in employee or HR communications
  • 5+ years working cross-functionally across HR to provide employee, team leader and executive communications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES

  • Working knowledge of all HR disciplines/initiatives
  • Experience as technical writer preferred
