Content Integration & Messaging Assistant

Cooley is seeking a Content Integration & Messaging Assistant to join the Marketing & Client Development team.

Position summary: Under the direction of the Director of Integrated Content Marketing and Senior Manager of Content Integration & Messaging, this role is responsible for supporting the infrastructure of the content marketing team as well as supporting and executing specific content initiatives. This role will work closely with the marketing and client development department at large and other administrative teams to enable the efficient development and delivery of content marketing initiatives by assisting with the centralization, standardization, and process of developing and producing content marketing strategy, messaging and materials to advance firm and practice priorities. Work is defined by the goals, objectives and policies of the department. Specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Position responsibilities:

  • Manage marketing content workflows and intake in Workfront, ensuring complete submissions, accurate tracking and on-time delivery
  • Drive cross-functional alignment to maintain workflow and project efficiency, stakeholder clarity and project momentum
  • Support the management and continuous improvement of content infrastructure, including workflows, templates, messaging frameworks and documentation
  • Identify, recommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, consistency and scalability, and support process standardization and documentation
  • Develop and maintain trackers, dashboards and reporting to monitor progress, identify risks and provide visibility into performance and key metrics
  • Manage and support governance of firmwide marketing materials in Templafy, including updates, audits, organization and usability improvements
  • Conduct research to support content strategy, messaging and positioning
  • Support auditing, drafting, editing and quality control of content across formats to ensure accuracy, consistency and alignment with brand standards
  • Manage multiple priorities and shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Anticipate needs and proactively support high-priority initiatives, connecting day-to-day work to broader firm, practice or campaign objectives
  • All other duties as assigned or required

Skills & experience:

Required:

  • After orientation at Cooley LLP, exhibit proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, iManage and other firm applications, including firm marketing systems software
  • Available to work overtime, as required

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, communication, marketing or related field
  • Previous experience in sales, marketing or account management-related field or previous experience in a law firm or professional services environment

The expected hourly pay range for this position with a work schedule of 40 hours per week is $23.50 - $34.00 ($48,880.00 - $70,720.00 annually).

Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience and skillset of the candidate.
