Revit / AutoCAD Drafter

Shift: Days

Travel: Up to 13 weeks a year

Pay: $120-150k/yr.

Location: Based out of the DC Metro Area

Reports to: Directly reports to the COO

Description:

  • Cannonball Recruiting is seeking a Revit/AutoCAD Drafter with a minimum of 3 years experience to complete work in the rehabilitation of domestic water piping systems in condos and apartments including layout, specification, calculations, and cost estimating. Experience with Uponor plumbing systems is required. Prospective candidates must be AutoCAD proficient and preferably have Revit experience.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in design, estimating, and replacement of domestic water systems with Uponor in multifamily high-rise buildings.
  • Experience producing detailed material and labor estimates for Uponor domestic water rehabilitation projects in multi-family condominiums and apartments.
  • Development of drawings and plans for pulling permits
  • Experience pulling permits
  • Candidate shall be AutoCAD proficient, and experience with Revit software is preferred.
  • Proficiency in estimating software (Trimble or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Plumbing license is beneficial

Job Duties:

  • Conduct on-site visits to gather information about project conditions and constraints
  • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates, considering materials, labor, equipment, and overhead costs to rehabilitate domestic water systems in high rise condominiums and apartments
  • Utilize estimating software to prepare cost estimates
  • Develop comprehensive proposals outlining the scope of work, cost breakdown, and any necessary qualifications
  • Project leadership to ensure project is built as designed within cost structure
  • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to secure competitive pricing.
  • Identify and assess potential risks that may impact project costs.
