At Tahiti Village Resort & Spa we are looking for energetic, professional team player with excellent communications skills. Positive attitude to deliver great customer experience and support our mission to create memorable experiences for ours guests.

ROLE

Answer all incoming calls within three rings. Manage all aspects of incoming and outgoing calls.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Answer all incoming phone calls.
  • Distribute incoming faxes, sort and distribute incoming mail.
  • Maintain a flexible work schedule.
  • Effectively handle and fulfill guest requests.
  • Follow up on Housekeeping Guest Request Log for completion.
  • Follow up on Engineering Guest Request Log for completion.
  • Monitor Early Check In List and notify guest when room is ready.
  • Monitor Early Out Log, check out guest and notify Housekeeping.
  • Assemble welcome packets.
  • Ensure accuracy of all shift end paperwork, including posting charges, and make folio adjustments.
  • Assist Front Desk with guest check in/out.
  • Must be able to fully understand and use the front desk software and have thorough knowledge of the resort.
  • Must understand and use the telephone system.
  • Must take reservations and input into resort system.
  • Input maintenance work orders into "Max Panda", daily.
  • Perform all other job requests as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must possess excellent telephone and customer service skills.
  • Must have excellent oral communication skills in English.
  • Must have a minimum of six (6) months experience in related field.
  • Must have basic math skills and aptitude.
  • Must have a professional appearance.
  • Must have basic computer knowledge.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to bend, kneeling and stretching most of the working day
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Able to work in areas containing dust, second hand smoking, varying noise and temperature levels, lighting, vibration and air quality
  • Ability to push/pull up to 25 pounds constantly.
