Join Our Team as a Mechanic III at Meriter Hospital - Keep Our Facilities Running Safely and Smoothly!
Are you an experienced maintenance professional with a passion for keeping systems and facilities operating at their best? At Meriter Hospital, we're seeking a skilled Mechanic III to ensure that our equipment, systems, and buildings are maintained to the highest standards-providing a safe, reliable, and comfortable environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.
What You'll Do:
As a Mechanic III, you'll play a critical role in maintaining our hospital's physical infrastructure. Your responsibilities may include:

  • Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on building systems (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical).
  • Troubleshooting and repairing a wide range of equipment and infrastructure systems.
  • Supporting regulatory compliance by maintaining facilities to meet hospital and healthcare industry standards.
  • Specializing in an area based on your experience and facility needs (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing, general maintenance).
  • Responding to work orders and emergencies to ensure a safe and comfortable environment at all times.

  • Proven experience in facilities maintenance or as a mechanical technician-preferably in a healthcare or commercial setting.
  • Technical knowledge in areas such as electrical, HVAC, plumbing, or general building systems.

Required Qualifications:
