Senior Account Executive - Century Foods International

RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role is responsible for developing, managing, and implementing the CFI sales plan in order to meet sales and profit objectives as directed by management.
  • Implements procedures to meet sales plan goals.
  • Makes sales calls on key accounts and potential new accounts found through trade shows, trade journals, web searching. Cold calls potential customers while maintaining a minimum list of 50 qualified leads.
  • Follows up, reviews, and handles past due accounts, claims, customer project statuses and travel plans.
  • Travels as required to develop, build and maintain current and future business.
  • Maintains detailed records on each customer to follow up on progress of samples, projects, production tests, development of specifications, protocols, and monitors shipments to assure conformance to customer requirements.
  • Communicates to management on issues regarding product returns, customer complaints, and product quality issues.
  • Completes all necessary paperwork and order procedures according to standards.
  • Increases market share by building a broader base of accounts as well as increasing sales to existing accounts through direct sales efforts.
  • Maintains awareness to market conditions and changes, including competitive prices and activity, and responds back to management.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Professional Selling, Agribusiness, Business Administration, Hospitality, or other related field required or equivalent direct industry experience.
  • 3+ years nutrition, food, or CPG sales experience
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Able to interact successfully with all levels of personnel, from executives to plant team members, to customers.
  • Excellent people and organizational skills necessary. Must be detail oriented, with outstanding follow-through and an exceptional team player.
  • Applicants must not now, or at any time in the future, require employer sponsorship for a work visa.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.

Preferred
  • Knowledge of the sports nutrition and dietary supplements industry.

LOCATION: Century Foods Headquarters in Sparta, WI preferred. A comprehensive relocation package will be provided to candidates moving to the Sparta, WI area.
We are also open to considering a remote work arrangement for candidates not in the vicinity.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Travel may be necessary up to 25% of the time.
At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base hiring pay is between $96,300 - $134,820 per year, and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location.
