This role requires operating mammography and other imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality imaging standards. The Mammography Technologist must also effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals to provide optimal care. Position Details: Position Description: Mammography Technologist Location: Onsite Type: Full -Time Schedule: Days (Monday - Friday 8:00a-4:30pm) Mercy Clinic Northwest 801 Hazel West Drive Hazelwood, MO 63042 Career Ladder Opportunities: Mammography Technologist: Education: Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program and completed required clinical hours. Experience: no experience required. Certification: Obtained ARRT registry OR Registry eligible (Achieve registry within 6 months of eligibility); BLS within 30 days of hire. Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice. Advanced Mammography Technologist: Education: Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program and completed required clinical hours. Experience: 1+ years of relevant experience OR graduate of Bachelor's degree program. Certification: ARRT (R)(M); BLS Basic Life Support.
