This is a part-time position (40 hours/2 weeks) with 8-hour shifts at Scripps Mercy Chula Vista.

 Join our team supporting the Cardiac Cath Lab Department at Scripps Mercy Chula Vista as a Registered Nurse. The ideal candidate will be flexible and easily adapt to the changing needs and tasks of the department. 

  • Monitor patient prior to and after the procedures
  • Administer medications
  • assist physicians during Cath procedures (both scheduled and emergency) angioplasties, pacemaker implantation and other cardiac procedures

Required:

  • 1 years recent experience as an RN in the Cath Lab, ICU and/or ED
  • Current CA RN License
  • BLS and ACLS for the Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Ability to speak, read, and follow instructions in English
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to demonstrate positive behaviors 

Preferred:

  • Two (2) years Cath Lab experience.
