Job Title

Relationship Manager - Business Development

As a key member of the Fiserv Debit Network group, the Relationship Manager - Business Development plays a crucial role in supporting the Accel Network, STAR Network, and MoneyPass Network for debit payment issuer and gateway growth. You will be the face of the Fiserv Debit Network business, sharing industry insights with existing and potential clients. Your responsibilities include communicating the value of the comprehensive Fiserv debit network solution, maintaining high levels of customer engagement, renegotiating client contracts, and serving as a subject matter expert in the payments industry.

What you will do:

  • Develop and enhance executive client relationships with key clients including the top 100 clients

  • Collaborate with various teams to drive business growth

  • Create and implement strategic plans for long and short-term objectives

  • Share market insights with key clients and act as the escalation path for issue resolution

  • Generate and analyze business review data on a regular basis

  • Assist merchants with improved authorization rates

  • Submit and manage project requests to ensure completion within defined SLAs

What You Will Need To Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in managing large accounts with a focus on net new and add-on sales commitments and client retention, preferably in mid to large merchant environments

  • 5+ years of experience in the debit payments industry

  • Strong financial and data analysis skills

  • Ability to travel up to 50% to client sites

What Would Be Great To Have:

  • Advanced degree or additional certifications in relevant fields

  • Experience in negotiating complex contracts and pricing models

  • Proficiency in CRM and sales tools for effective client management
