About the role

In this role, you will be accountable for maintaining and executing design aesthetics through consistent fit and construction, aligned to our customers' needs. You will be a strong collaborator and influencer with cross-functional partners and vendors, and be able to translate design concepts into specifications for costing and first prototypes, by leveraging fit camps and maintaining overall customer fit consistency. You will be responsible for providing direction to global sourcing teams to expand vendor capabilities and troubleshoot fit issues, as needed.

What you'll do
  • An advanced understanding and practical application of garment construction, patternmaking, alterations, and grading.
  • An expert in Fit, Construction, and Quality; strong understanding of the brand and customer; one who can consistently execute to a high level of aesthetic, cost, and functional requirements.
  • Effective use of PLM software or Tech Pack Management system
  • Responsible for fit & construction risk management, plus training & empowering Supplier's fit technicians.
  • Ensure Physical and Digital samples comply with brand standards throughout the product creation process
  • Ownership and Maintenance of the block library and fit guide
  • Partner with Quality Assurance team to identify and implement Old Navy's best practices. Look for opportunities for continuous improvement based on customer feedback, return rates, and customer online reviews.

  • Proficiency in 3D rendering and digital pattern software; ability to accurately execute, style, and pattern revisions in digital space. (ON L2 Level)
  • Soft Skills - Demonstrate ability to influence the cross-functional team and help the team reach highly-informed decisions.
  • Stay up to date with relevant trends and competitor fit attributes by maintaining a customer-centric mindset and an aesthetic eye
  • Be proactive and a self-starter; one who develops and utilizes tools, resources, and processes that support innovative and effective ways of working through all stages of product development.
  • Organization skills - Ability to assess relatively complex situations and analyze data to recommend solutions.
  • A natural problem-solver who inspires a solution-centric approach in his/her/their team for costing solutions and brand standards.

Salary Range: $108,500.00 - $141,000.00
Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
