Job description

Overall Job Summary
This position is responsible for project management of all new and existing Asset Protection programs, Loss Prevention technological development and administration, capital and opex management, and all associated analytics.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)
  1. Project Manager for all asset protection programs and LP technology that is implemented for all Tractor Supply stores
    1. Responsible for ideation, ROI and labor analytics, piloting, testing, roll out, implementation, and back end reporting
    2. Create and drive shrink reducing full chain strategies
    3. Create programs to drive operational execution to reduce shrink and theft reduction programs to reduce shrink
    4. Responsible for continued support and program management post implementation
    5. Subject matter expert in all Loss Prevention store facing initiatives
    6. 10+ new projects annually, 50+ existing programs to maintain/refresh
  2. Direct and Administer Departmental technology and software
    1. System Administrator for Asset Protection Technological network devices utilized by the field. Including install, engineering, first level support, etc.
    2. Departmental superuser and for space planning technological system and asset protection ticketing system (Workfront and Service Channel)
  • Review weekly merchandising projects in Workfront to approve for LP involvement and merchandise protection strategies
  • Review store orders in Service Channel, adjust NTEs, create purchase orders, receive, and work with supporting vendors on consolidated invoices monthly
  1. Create dashboarding and analytics focused on merchandise protection initiatives and operational shrink reduction plans for field, LP, and merchants with intent to drive corrective actions, efficiencies, and profitability
  2. Lead field training of LP Programs and technology. Direct all Loss Prevention communication to field and SSC via the Mule, Barn, Hub, or via the communications team.
  3. Direct and oversee Merchandise Security Advisory Board, creating Merchandising Security Standards, intradepartmental cohesion, and decision making processes as it pertains and streamlining the decision-making process on how to secure and how to communicate to the field.
  4. Build and maintain strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
    1. Partner with the Merchandising Team and influence decisions with key focus on driving profitability, and obtaining buy in for key projects.
    2. Partner and manage more than a dozen key third party vendors that will drive critical success around asset protection and fixturing to create and deliver strategies to drive profitability.
    3. Create and engineer new strategic store equipment such as fixturing and single unit asset protection devices that are specific for Tractor Supply to reduce shrink while optimizing costs
  1. Manage all financial aspects of asset protection, including more than $1.5M in annual CapEx, $20M in total portfolio assets, OpEx exceeding $750K annually including procurement/purchasing, installation, and repairs, as well as all POs, receipts, and VACs
  2. Manage online store ordering platforms such as Supply Chest and Supply Manager for existing and new stores around assortment, ordering, replenishment, and inventory levels while maintaining general ledge budgets
  3. Manage full chain locking solutions for both cases/cabinets, doors, and fixtures for all existing and new stores

Required Qualifications
Experience: 7 years of Loss Prevention, Fraud, Data, Audit, Master Data or related experience.
Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.
Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities
  • Proficient gathering, documenting and evaluating information to solve difficult problems
  • Ability to think critically and develop conclusions
  • Ability to self-motivate, work with a sense of urgency, and work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of indicators of fraud
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
