Job Description
General Function:
The Retail Space Management (RSM) team manages retail merchandising in 1600+ client and host businesses. This role is critical in bringing product strategies to life in-store, ensuring clear communication, consistent execution, and seamless delivery of guidelines across all locations. As a key cross-functional partner, you will lead communication, training, and execution frameworks that enable consistency, clarity, and operational excellence across the fleet.
Main Role and Responsibilities:
Own development and evolution of store setup guidelines, product initiatives, and brand flow strategies across all store formats.
Coordinate monthly and fiscal week merchandising updates, including Store Mapping Guides and NRR-related deliverables.
Manage guideline tracking, uploads, and distribution to field teams.
Conduct store visits and execution audits to ensure alignment with merchandising standards.
Collect and validate store photos, providing feedback and follow-up with field teams.
Act as a point of contact for field questions related to merchandising, mapping, and guidelines.
Create training materials (guides, videos, presentations) to support field teams.
Help streamline and simplify RSM communications for clarity and ease of execution.
Support onboarding and ongoing training for store teams and new hires.
Develop presentations, visual mockups, and renderings to support store concepts and initiatives.
Create visuals to illustrate future store layouts and product placement strategies.
Support product launches, special projects, and test initiatives from planning through execution.
Coordinate across teams to ensure timelines, deliverables, and communications are aligned.
Assist with prop and fixture planning, including vendor coordination and rollout support.
Skills:
Highly proficient in PowerPoint and Excel.
Proficient in Photoshop, InDesign, Outlook, OneDrive (shared-folder organization) and Teams.
Familiarity with space planning, merchandising guidelines, planograms, merchandising principles, or fixture mapping tools.
Highly Organized.
Strong project management skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize.
Comfortable supporting ad hoc and urgent requests with a high level of responsiveness.
Strong sense of ownership and ability to manage processes independently.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to think strategically and creatively.
Strong team skills and proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives and driving execution at scale.
Qualifications:
5-10 years of experience in Retail Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, Space Planning, Operations, or a similar function.
Experience in a large retail environment preferred (multi-store, multi-format, or specialty retail).
Bachelor's degree in Retail, Merchandising, Design, Business, Marketing, or equivalent experience preferred.
