The Manager, Visual Merchandising - Fashion leads the execution of end-to-end visual merchandising strategies that bring Walmart Fashion to life in stores. This role partners cross-functionally to translate business priorities, customer insights, and trend direction into compelling, customer-first presentation strategies that inspire outfitting, simplify the shopping journey, and drive conversion.
As a key member of the Visual Merchandising team, you'll influence presentation standards, drive executional excellence, and develop scalable solutions that create a consistent customer experience across stores. You'll collaborate closely with Merchandising & Design, Marketing, Retail Brand Experience, Communications & Training, Styling, Store Operations, and Space Planning to deliver inspiring, commercially impactful experiences that support the Walmart Fashion brand.
You are an experienced visual merchandising leader with expertise across both corporate and store environments. You understand how customers shop Fashion and have a passion for creating visually compelling, operationally executable presentations that balance creativity with commercial results. You thrive in ambiguity, build strong partnerships, influence without authority, and champion an inclusive culture while keeping the customer at the center of every decision.What you'll do...You will make an impact by:
  • Driving the development and execution of visual merchandising strategies that enhance the customer experience and support sales growth across Walmart Fashion.
  • Translating customer insights, trend direction, business priorities, and merchant strategies into scalable presentation solutions that are inspiring, operationally executable, and easy for stores to implement.
  • Partnering with Merchandising & Design, Marketing, Retail Brand Experience, Communications & Training, Styling, Store Operations, and Space Planning to deliver cohesive in-store experiences that bring seasonal storytelling and brand moments to life.
  • Leading the execution of seasonal floor sets, key campaigns, and visual merchandising initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time and aligned with business objectives.
  • Creating presentation strategies that inspire outfitting, cross-category shopping, and customer discovery while reinforcing the Walmart Fashion brand.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve presentation standards, processes, and ways of working that simplify execution and increase consistency across stores.
  • Leveraging sales performance, customer insights, competitive trends, and store feedback to evolve merchandising strategies and continuously improve business outcomes.
  • Influencing cross-functional partners to align priorities, navigate complexity, and deliver customer-first solutions at scale.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 3+ years of visual merchandising experience, including corporate visual merchandising experience and experience executing visual presentation within stores.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing customer-first visual merchandising strategies in a retail environment.
  • Strong organizational, project management, communication, and prioritization skills.
  • Experience influencing cross-functional partners and managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and SharePoint.
  • Ability to travel domestically to multiple facilities or worksites, including overnight travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Visual Merchandising, Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, Communications, Design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience in big-box, specialty, department store, or omnichannel retail environments.
  • Experience developing visual merchandising strategies for Apparel, Accessories, or Fashion businesses.
  • Familiarity with planograms (POGs), modular development, and space planning.
  • Strong understanding of retail trends, customer shopping behaviors, and visual storytelling.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
