Job description

Catbird is looking for a curious, collaborative Senior Data Analyst to join our team. This role will sit at the center of our business, serving as a shared analytical resource across Marketing, E-Commerce, Merchandising and Finance. You will turn raw data into clear insights that drive decisions on customer retention, revenue performance, and operational efficiency.

You bring strong technical skills, clear communication, and a genuine interest in the business questions behind the numbers.

This position is hybrid based in our Brooklyn Navy Yard Headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

Customer and Marketing Analytics

    Extract and analyze CRM data, purchase behavior, customer service feedback, and survey insights

    Build and maintain customer dashboards for ongoing and ad hoc analysis in Looker

    Support lifecycle marketing with data-driven direction on segmentation, audience targeting, and campaign performance

    Develop A/B testing frameworks for creative, messaging, send frequency, and timing

    Define metrics and tracking to measure retention health, brand engagement, and customer lifetime value

    Provide analytical support for Catbird's loyalty program and clienteling initiatives

E-Commerce and Business Analytics

    Analyze site performance, conversion funnels, and digital revenue trends

    Partner with the e-commerce and merchandising team on product performance, merchandising mix, and promotional impact

    Build automated reporting in Looker to surface key metrics across the digital business

Reporting and Communication

    Create weekly and monthly performance summaries with clear, actionable takeaways

    Translate complex analyses into plain-language recommendations for non-technical stakeholders

    Establish and maintain shared KPI frameworks used across business teams
Our Ideal Candidate

    5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field

    Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation

    Hands-on experience with Looker or a comparable BI platform (dashboard modeling, Looks, views, joins, data validation)

    Familiarity with e-commerce and/or DTC business models

    Experience with CRM platforms and marketing analytics tools

    Strong communicator with the ability to present findings clearly to cross-functional audiences

    Comfortable managing multiple workstreams and shifting priorities across business teams

    A passion for the Catbird brand is a strong plus
$100,000 - $125,000 a year
Annual salary range is $100k-$125k plus 10% bonus.
