Job description

As a Territory Manager, you will develop sales results within a defined territory of Menards stores. You will build relationships with DIY’ers, key store personnel, and other end users of the Pittsburgh Paints Company to drive top line sales growth. You will work onsite in the southern Chicago, IL territory and report to the Regional Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze territory sales performance reports and develop strategic territory business plans to drive growth. 
  • Provide excellent customer service to customers and work with them in a timely manner to achieve high levels of efficiency within their business.
  • Increase existing customer share to meet sales expectations and build strong working relationships with new customers to increase the potential business opportunities.
  • Work cross-functionally with all departments to exceed sales goals while supervising on market and competitive activities.

Qualifications: 

  • High School graduate with 3+ years of sales experience; Higher-level education degree in a business-related field preferred. 
  • Store operations, inventory management and merchandising experience highly sought after.
  • Ability to work a 45-hour work week M-F and lift up to 65 pounds on a periodic basis.
  • Up to 30% travel in territory and some outside travel required throughout the year assisting in other territories.
  • Bi-lingual; Spanish language proficiency is preferred.

The base salary range for this position is $40,000 to $50,000 with five hours of overtime weekly and annual bonus.
