Interns may use point-of-sale (POS) systems, inventory management software, and basic office applications during their rotation. As a Menards intern, you can expect to participate in a variety of tasks ranging from assisting with inventory control, supporting department managers, and providing customer service, to learning about retail operations. Interns often work alongside experienced team members and may have the opportunity to contribute to short-term projects, such as setting up promotional displays or analyzing sales trends. Our Management Internship is a paid, hands-on training program designed to develop and prepare you for the world of Retail Management.
As you progress through the 12-week Management Internship program, your General Management team, Department Managers, and Store Team Members will work alongside you to develop your understanding of our business and help prepare you to take on a management role in the near future!
This is a paid part-time position that will have the opportunity to develop stronger organizational, communication and time management skills as well as the opportunity to gain hands-on management experience.
