Pay Range: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00
This position is eligible for a $2,000 sign-on Bonus
The base salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year for employees hired in the Central Valley, CA. The pay range provided in this job posting represents the typical range or starting rate of candidates hired within the Central Valley region. Candidates hired in Southern California or Bay Area locations may have higher starting salaries due to cost of living and market data differences. ️ Summary Position
The Foster Care Services Director is responsible for the day-to-day oversight and coordination of Aspiranet's foster care and adoption services. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of foster care and adoption programs, including compliance with licensing and regulatory requirements, fiscal oversight, promoting best practices in child welfare, and support the recruitment, training, and retention of staff and foster families. Strong leadership, program management, and communications skills are essential for the success in this role.

Key Responsibilities
Program Oversight & Management
  • Monitor adherence to agency, state, and funder standards.
  • Manage the implementation of the agency's Best Practice and Quality Assurance efforts including compliance to data tracking systems and program specific outcome measurement.
  • Participate in internal audits and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Operate program within budgetary limits.

Operations & Coordination
  • Support the maintenance of operational Joint Commission safety standards.
  • Coordinate onboarding and training of new staff.
  • Maintain communication with external partners and referral sources as needed.
  • Participate in agency-wide planning and strategic meetings.

Staff Leadership & Development
  • Foster a supportive, trauma-informed team culture.
  • Conduct timely performance evaluations and participate in employee performance management
  • Promote interdepartmental collaboration to improve service delivery.
  • Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of prior supervisory experience.
  • Three years of full-time social work or casework employment in the field of family or child welfare services or two years full-time social work or casework employment in a foster family or adoption agency.
  • Must pass all state-mandated background checks and health clearances (fingerprints, TB test, clean driving record).

Work Environment & Schedule
This position is fully on-site. This role requires availability for occasional evening hours and after-hours crisis consultation on a rotating basis. Travel is required for site visits or meetings. This role is based in a collaborative office environment where Aspiranet provides a wide continuum of Social and Behavioral Health Services.
