This position is responsible for the direction of the day-to-day functions of The Sylvestery, a memory care community, within Vinson Hall, in accordance with current Federal and State regulations governing Licensed Assisted Living Facilities. It enforces the employment, financial and other policies of Vinson Hall to ensure that the highest quality of care is provided to all residents.
Requirements
  • Current License as an Assisted Living Administrator or Nursing Home Administrator in Virginia.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Health Care Administration, Social Work, or similar field.
  • Minimum of five years management experience required, with at least three years as an Administrator in an assisted living or nursing home in a retirement community providing services to the elderly.
  • Experience managing a memory care program or community preferred.
  • Familiarity with regulations, guidelines, practices and procedures pertaining to retirement communities.
  • Proficient in the use of computers and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent writing and public speaking skills required.
