Job description

At our Westmoreland County Memorial Park, the job entails being responsible for the overall maintenance of cemetery grounds and buildings. This includes, but is not limited to: grass cutting, edge trimming, and mulching, correctly laying out grave lots for burials and installing memorials.
  • Individual must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions.
  • Starting rate is $18.39 per hour. Union Position. Full Union rate after year.
  • Full time - 40 hours per week. Occasionally, workload may require overtime.
  • We offer an outstanding benefits package. After introductory period, sick days, paid holidays and vacation after a year.
Candidate:
  • Must be at least 18 years old due to insurance regulations.
  • Must be able to read, write and understand English.
  • Must have valid Driver’s License.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Experience in operating a backhoe is helpful.
  • Experience in driving tractors, is preferred.
  • Must wear personal protective equipment.
