Job Title: Registered Nurse

Must-Have:
- Previous charge experience
- Experience with a patient ratio of 1:1
- Travel experience required
Description:
Locals allowed.
First-time travelers accepted: No.
EMR utilized is Epic.
No call required.
Scrubs are provided.
Patient age groups served include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
Daily census is approximately 5 patients; about 5 visits per day.
There is 1 operating room and 1 bed.
Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy.
Special procedures in the unit include colonoscopy, EGD, carpal tunnel release, excisions, gynecological procedures (excluding cesarean section), laparoscopic cholecystectomy, hernia repairs, and various small procedures.
A 1:1 patient ratio is maintained during day shifts.
Expectation to work some holidays is present.
Candidates may be asked to float to other units as required.
Orientation modules are required and are non-billable.
All candidates must have necessary licenses and certifications in hand prior to starting the position.
