ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a Membership Coordinator to develop and manage membership recruitment and retention programs. In this role, you will enhance the value of membership by promoting member services and coordinating communications programs and activities for the association.

This position offers a competitive pay range and is located in a dynamic work environment that values collaboration and community engagement. Shifts are flexible to accommodate various schedules.

YOUR TEAM CONTRIBUTIONS MAY INCLUDE

  • Providing primary staff support to the Membership Committee, including agenda preparation, minute-taking, and handling meeting logistics.
  • Developing and coordinating membership drives and campaigns.
  • Ensuring all membership information is accurately entered into the association’s database.
  • Scheduling and directing recurring new member orientations.
  • Providing regular reports to the Membership Committee and Executive Officer on new member applications, upcoming renewals, and cancellation statistics.
  • Planning and creating communications to the general membership.
  • Serving as managing editor of the association newsletter, industry publication, and Who’s Who Directory.
  • Holding primary responsibility for the production, editing, and ad sales of the association’s publications.
  • Assisting in the management and operation of association events. Establishing budgets and guidelines for the printing and distribution of association publications.
  • Overseeing the content and maintenance of the association’s website.
  • Managing the association’s Annual Sponsorship Program and coordinating individual sponsors for association events, publications, and website advertising.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in database management and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Familiarity with event planning and coordination.
  • Basic knowledge of website management and content creation.
