Overview

The Membership Assistant supports the Member Experience team with daily administrative and member service needs. This position is located at the entrance to the Club and serves as one of the first points of contact for members and guests. The Membership Assistant is responsible for assisting with data entry, reservations, member inquiries, account support, and general administrative tasks while providing friendly, professional, and attentive service. The ideal candidate is organized, personable, detail-oriented, and comfortable interacting with members in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

This role pays an hourly rate of $12.00 - $15.00 per hour plus other benefits as applicable for this position. Please note: Including your share of service charges, your hourly earnings will typically exceed the minimum wage, but you are always guaranteed hourly earnings of at least the minimum wage in accordance with applicable law.

Responsibilities
  • Welcome and assist members and guests upon arrival.
  • Provide a warm, professional, and welcoming experience at the Club entrance.
  • Assist with member reservations, inquiries, and account-related requests.
  • Maintain accurate member information and complete data entry in Club systems.
  • Answer phone calls and direct questions to the appropriate team member.
  • Assist the Membership team with administrative tasks and daily operations.
  • Communicate Club information, policies, and upcoming events to members.
  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling member information.
  • Work closely with other Club departments to provide a seamless member experience.
  • Assist in Member Event setup and execution.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 
  • Must have a proactive, team-oriented attitude and be a team player.
  • Must be able to multitask effectively. 
  • Ability to move furniture in membership event spaces pre- and post-event.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed to support Member Events.
