Member Services Associate (Part-Time)Join the Team at Tiburon Peninsula Club

The Tiburon Peninsula Club (TPC) is Southern Marin's premier Sports amp; Social Club—a vibrant gathering place where families, friends, and neighbors come together to stay active, connect, and create lasting memories.

From tennis and aquatics to fitness, wellness, youth programming, and social events, TPC offers something for every member of the family. Our Member Services team plays a vital role in creating the warm, welcoming experience our members have come to expect.

Position Overview

As a Member Services Associate, you'll be one of the first people members and guests interact with each day. You'll help create exceptional experiences by providing outstanding customer service, assisting with reservations and registrations, answering questions, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations at the Club.

Responsibilities
  • Welcome members and guests at either the Front Desk or Lower Court Desk.
  • Manage online, phone, and in-person reservations.
  • Assist members with program and event registrations.
  • Process purchases for snacks, beverages, merchandise, and guest fees.
  • Stay informed on Club policies, procedures, and upcoming events, and communicate information accurately to members.
  • Answer questions and resolve concerns with professionalism and a friendly attitude.
  • Follow Club health and illness guidelines.
  • Assist with administrative projects and daily operational tasks as needed.
  • Participate in monthly staff meetings and contribute as an engaged member of the TPC team.
Qualifications

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Friendly, outgoing, and enjoys working with people.
  • Organized and able to multitask in a busy environment.
  • Dependable, responsible, and accountable.
  • An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable learning new technology and computer systems.
  • Able to lift up to 25 pounds when needed.
  • Able to pass a background check, if required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least one year of customer service experience.
  • Weekday, evening, and weekend availability.
  • Experience in hospitality, recreation, retail, or private clubs is a plus.
