Job description

Collins Community Credit Union, a growing organization, is currently hiring a Member Experience Representative. This person will be a competitive, independent, "doer" who can problem solve and get things done through people. In this role, you will promote and provide credit union products and services to new and existing members with referrals to appropriate departments when necessary. This position is responsible for transactions via phone, answering member questions and being a Credit Union advocate.

This position is onsite at our Blairs Ferry Rd location in Cedar Rapids. Applicants must have valid work authorization for permanent employment in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship.

Must be available to work during business hours:

  • Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 5:00 pm
  • Friday 8:30am - 5:30 pm
  • Saturday 8:30am - 12:00 pm (rotating)

Member Experience Representative Expectations:

  • Represent the Credit Union in a courteous and professional manner. Maintain and protect the Credit Unions professional reputation and maintain confidentiality and privacy of members' information. Promote a positive image of the credit union.
  • Responsible for building member relationships by actively uncovering and evaluating members' financial needs and offering products/services to meet those needs. Includes follow-up calls to membership.
  • Answer inquiries, open, maintain, and close all deposit products.
  • Assist members with loan, credit card, electronic services, and deposit products and service-related questions via appropriate communication channel.
  • Run financial transactions, as necessary.
  • Have a working knowledge of all Credit Union products and services.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of all Federal Regulations and Credit Union Policies relating to this position.
  • Consistently meet department availability and adherence standards
  • Ability and willingness to work flexible hours or at different locations to accomplish the workload as directed by your manager.
  • Demonstrate teamwork in all interactions with co-workers and in the completion of all duties and responsibilities.
