Job Summary:
Assists the Market President and CEO of Outreach as needed with planning, organizing, coordinating and implementing administrative functions and special projects. Serves as a liaison for the Bledsoe and Sequatchie Valley Campus for executives, managers, physicians, employees, patients, vendors, visitors and the community. Provides support and assistance to Department Managers of Bledsoe & Sequatchie Valley.
Education:
Required:
Associate Degree in Business or Office Management or comparable combination of education and experience.
Preferred:
Medical Terminology, Microsoft Word, Power Point, Publisher, Excel and Access.
Specialized courses in computer systems. Good customer service skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and perform within time constraints.
Experience:
Required:
Minimum of five years progressively responsible secretarial/administrative experience. Office experience in using personal computers including Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, Power Point, Outlook, internet research and database management/maintenance.
Preferred:
Prefer individual with the overall knowledge of the health systems organization, policies and procedures.

Assists the Market President & CEO, Outreach with planning, organizing, coordinating and implementing administrative functions and special projects. Maintains calendar for Market President & CEO,Outreach.
Provides administrative support for Market President & CEO, Outreach.
Demonstrates advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Publisher and Outlook. Knowledge of PeopleSoft Financials/Supply Chain, EHS People Center, AP Check Request, Kronos Supervisor and Meditract Contract System.
Completes Assignments and special projects for the Market President & CEO, Outreach.
Service as liaison between executives, medical staff, management and hospital staff.
Organizes and attends meetings, prepares agendas and supporting documents in a neat and efficient manner. Types, edits, transcribes and composes correspondence, minutes and reports accurately.
Coordinates travel arrangements and reimbursements for the Market President & CEO, Outreach.
Opens and handles all mail for Erlanger Bledsoe Administration.
Petty Cash Specialist maintains, balances and replenishes petty cash fund for Bledsoe Campus.
Prepares and submits monthly invoices in AP Check Request. Verifies invoices have been processed.
Reconcile Market President & CEO, Outreach monthly credit card expenses. Verify approvals are submitted for deadlines.
Addresses and refers comments, suggestions and complaints in a timely, confidential and professional manner. Screens and refers telephone calls and greets visitors in a timely courteous manner. Exhibits excellent customer service skills.
Orders office supplies and Erlanger Bledsoe Administration.
Provides support and assistance as needed to various Bledsoe/SVED Departments. Duties include maintaining scheduling for ER physicians, monitoring the MediTract contract management system, collaborating and maintaining physician contract submission as well as the approval and renewal process, assisting with the revision of contracts and other related legal documents, maintaining reference materials and other duties as directed by the Market President & CEO, Outreach.
