Responsibilities for Medication Management Nurse:

  • Pass medications on assigned shift.
  • Monitor medication administration to ensure accuracy, compliance, and resident safety.

Requirements for Medication Management Nurse:

  • Required: Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Pennsylvania.
  • Required: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting (focus on medication management preferred).
  • Required: Strong understanding of pharmacology, medication administration, and drug interactions.
  • Required: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Required: Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Required: Proficiency in electronic medication administration records (eMAR) systems.

Preferred Qualifications for Medication Management Nurse:

  • Prefer: Experience in personal care, long-term care, hospice, or home health settings.
  • Prefer: Knowledge of regulatory standards and guidelines related to medication management.
  • Prefer: Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
