Defy Medical is a concierge medical clinic that is based in Tampa and remotely throughout the country with our telehealth services. We are quickly growing in our field with specialized and individualized preventative and restorative therapies. Defy is committed to improving the lives of our patients while maintaining the highest level of care through the process.


What Are We Looking For?

Defy Medical is looking for a Scheduler to add to our growing team. The Scheduling Team plays a pivotal role in the patient care plan. Through accuracy, communication, and time management our Schedulers help start and maintain our patients care plans.

A Scheduler at Defy Medical is outgoing and enjoys helping people. They can adapt and learn new computer programs quickly. Multitasking, upbeat personality, and communication are pillars for our Schedulers. Amazing communication skills, written and oral, are a must for being successful in this position.


Responsibilities

  • Communicating with clients, medical assistants and nurses within the organization
  • Maintain client and employee privacy in accordance with HIPAA regulations
  • Handling incoming and outgoing patient and/or vendor calls
  • Responding to live chats
  • Working independently on ancillary tasks
  • Organizing and processing blood work order and physician schedules
  • Working independently on ancillary tasks
  • Managing information input into computer database
  • Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls
  • Ability to effectively learn and utilize multiple computer programs
  • Check voicemails and return customer calls
  • Maintain email communication with patients, vendors and co-workers daily
  • Organize and maintain cleanliness of working areas, supplies, and equipment
  • Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice
  • Position is Work from Home!


Qualifications

  • Scheduling experience preferred
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Administrative experience preferred
  • High School Diploma (associate's in healthcare preferred)
  • Ability to execute active listening and problem-solving skills to provide exceptional customer service
  • Excellent inter-personal relationship skills and the ability to work with individuals of all levels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including phone and e-mail etiquette
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task


Shifts Available

  • Monday-Friday 10am-6:30pm

OR

    • Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm


    Compensation: $17.50/hr (not negotiable)
