Job description

Olsten Staffing is assisting a local client in Cheraw, South Carolina to find an experienced and eager weaverto join their growing team!
The primary responsibility of a weaver is to repair creel, fill break and flag looms for technicians, observe quality of fabric as woven, and creel yarn as needed.
Other job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Watch fabric for defects
  • Flag looms for fixer as needed
  • Flag looms for doffer as needed
  • Inspect creel
  • Backwind yarn when needed
  • Check pick line and record readings
  • Perform doff at specified cut length
  • Load creel and draw-in to the loom
  • Keep work area clean and tidy
  • Observe all plant and company safety rules
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor, Technical Coordinator, or Process Engineer
This position will start at $17.67 an hour and is predominantly 3rd shift.
