Sterling Medical is currently looking for Medical Office Clerks positions for the Hampton VA Healthcare System Station 590, 100 Emancipation Dr, Hampton, VA 23667 Great Pay!! 2 weeks PTO, Benefits offered, and 11 Paid Federal Holidays! Clinic Hours-M-F, 8:00 am-4:30pm, 8 hr. shifts( 40 hour weeks, no OT) Remote positions may be available upon facility approval! SUMMARY: Provides clerical/administrative support. Schedules appointments, In addition to scheduling requested appointments, this position will call patients to schedule, reschedule, and/or cancel appointments as needed, to include appointments for consult/referral specialty care, ability to multitask is essential. QUALIFICATIONS: Mandatory knowledge and skills: · A fully qualified typist (computer keyboard) with a minimum of 40 WPM is required. · telephone etiquette, and excellent communication and customer service skills. · General office administrative and clerical skills to perform receptionist duties and answer telephones. · Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
