This role allows for a remote work setting, with a unique focus on supporting school-aged children and adolescents. Working closely with educational staff, parents, and community resources, you will find yourself at the intersection of mental health and education, crafting an impactful experience for your clients. Flexibility is key; your schedule will include some evening and weekend hours, allowing you to accommodate various client needs while maintaining a work-life balance.

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to gather information regarding each client's mental health history, current concerns, strengths, and available resources.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions using a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities tailored to our school-based clientele.
• Utilize specialized therapeutic approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care to address specific challenges faced by students.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that clearly outline goals, interventions, and measurable outcomes, forming a roadmap for each client’s progress.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
• Deliver crisis intervention, risk assessments, and safety planning, especially in situations that may involve at-risk youths.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with legal and ethical standards in client records, ensuring confidentiality and integrity of client information.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions, psychoeducation classes, and support groups, fostering community and shared learning among peers.

Your primary focus will be on students within the school system who may be facing mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and other emotional or behavioral issues. Working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and school administrators, you will provide crucial support to improve not only the individual student’s mental well-being but also the overall school climate.

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required to ensure a solid foundation of social work principles and practice.
• Possession of an active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in mental health or outpatient settings, with a strong preference for experience in school-based mental health services.
• Comprehensive understanding of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and effective treatment approaches.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and assessment skills, enabling you to connect with clients and their families effectively.

• Background in working with children and adolescents, especially within educational environments.
• Knowledge of community resources and programs to assist clients beyond mental health services.
• Experience using teletherapy or digital platforms, as remote interactions play a key role in this position.
