Job description

NEEDED: Medical Assistant
LOCATION: 9000 Blue Mound Rd., Dort Worth, TX 76131
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
OPERATIONAL HOURS: 24 hours a day, five (5) days a week (Mon-Fri), weekends on an as needed basis, weekend coverage may be required for day, evening, and midnight shifts.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • US Citizen
  • 1-2 years' experience as a Medical Assistant

JOB DUTIES:
  • Schedule all appointments for medical surveillance and pre/post-employment physicals.
  • Shall maintain all files, order supplies and finalize all reports received from the Lead Nurse.
  • Work with web-based computer systems, medical software, Occupational Health and Safety software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite software.
  • Prepare medical records for archiving after employee has left the agency.
  • Organize all health and wellness events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Shall wear professional medical entire at all times while within the facility.
