Standard Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our team supporting the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) program.
Responsibilities:
Plans, conducts, and coordinates firmware/software development activities. Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs firmware/software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Ensures software standards are met.

Basic Qualifications
- Experience with mid to large scale system or software development program Software testing ,requirements verification and validation.
- Experienced in software development for real time embedded systems using the C++ programming language.
- Experience with the VxWorks RTOS.
- Experience developing software using the WindRiver Workbench development environment or similar
Desired Skills
Ability to read and interpret circuit schematics, knowledgeable of microcontrollers and FPGAs, and basic circuit troubleshooting skills with those digital devices.
Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $120600.00 - $224000.00
