Software Engineer Location: Stratford, CT Job ID: #72788 Pay Range: $60-72 ph (W2) Duration: 12 mos Responsibilities will include, but is not limited to, software development in support of digital tools required for production and field aircraft issues, design and documentation of SQL database architecture, and managing wireless/wired synchronization of aircraft data. The candidate should have the ability to communicate effectively to management and work well with other engineers in team environments. Expert software development skills is a must. Candidate must be fluent in Microsoft .NET framework including the following languages: C#, C/C++, SQL, and HTML/CSS. Position requires candidate to be highly motivated, goal and team oriented (significant interaction with other NVH Engineers required throughout development efforts). Discussions involving higher level mathematics and statistical modeling will require candidate to translate foundational knowledge into code. Extensive software development experience on medium-sized projects involving multiple users and synchronization issues and MS SQL Database architecture design and development. Working knowledge of Sikorsky IT protocols and policies is a plus.
