En tant qu'Ingenieure en Simulation de Systemes au sein de notre equipe HVDC a Montreal, vous collaborerez avec des specialistes talentueux pour modeliser, tester et optimiser des solutions qui permettront la prochaine generation d'energie propre. Vous interviendrez a toutes les etapes du cycle de vie - de la phase d'appel d'offres a l'execution - en transformant des donnees complexes en modeles de simulation fiables et en soutenant des equipes d'ingenierie reparties a travers le monde. Votre impact

• Realiser des etudes de simulation en domaines phasoriel (RMS) et transitoire (EMT) pour les systemes HVDC.
• Verifier la performance dynamique des systemes de commande et de protection HVDC.
• Convertir de grands modeles de reseaux electriques en equivalents reduits.
• Developper des modeles dans divers outils d'analyse de reseaux electriques.
• Soutenir les essais en usine et les equipes travaillant sur les simulateurs en temps reel.
• Presenter les resultats d'ingenierie et participer aux reunions de projet.
• Collaborer avec les equipes multidisciplinaires du soutien aux offres a l'execution.
• Partager les meilleures pratiques au sein de la communaute d'ingenierie mondiale.

Votre profil

• MSc ou PhD en genie electrique ou dans un domaine connexe.
• Minimum 2 ans d'experience en etudes EMTDC et en simulations HVDC (PSCAD, PSSE, EMTPRV, PowerFactory, etc.).
• Forte capacite analytique et souci du detail pour resoudre des problematiques complexes.
• Approche structuree et rigoureuse des taches et livrables.
• A l'aise de travailler dans un environnement international et multiculturel.
• Maitrise de l'anglais; le francais est un atout.

As a System Simulation Engineer within our HVDC team in Montreal, you'll collaborate with talented colleagues across disciplines to model, test and refine the systems that make nextgeneration clean energy possible. You'll work across the full project lifecycle-from tender development to execution-translating complex power system data into accurate simulation models and supporting engineering teams around the world. How you'll make an impact

• Perform phasor (RMS) and transient (EMT) simulation studies for HVDC systems.
• Verify dynamic performance of HVDC control and protection systems.
• Convert large power system models into network equivalents for advanced simulations.
• Develop system models across multiple power system analysis tools.
• Support factory system tests and realtime simulator activities.
• Present engineering insights and participate in project meetings.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams throughout tender and execution phases.
• Share best practices across global engineering communities.

Your background

• MSc or PhD in Electric Power Engineering or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience with EMTDC studies and HVDC system simulations (e.g., PSCAD, PSSE, EMTPRV, PowerFactory).
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail when solving complex problems.
• Structured approach to engineering tasks and timesensitive deliverables.
• Comfortable working in an international, multicultural environment.
• Proficient in English; French is an asset.
