Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare or related setting
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Coursework or training in medical terminology and human anatomy, or equivalent education/experience
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Coursework or training in medical coding
  • 1 year of medical record abstracting and/or coding experience
  • 1 year of medical registry experience or 2+ years in a healthcare-related field
