About the Role
The Medical Assistant is a vital role in supporting patients throughout their fertility journey. We are seeking compassionate, detail-oriented individuals who thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. As a Medical Assistant, you will support both the clinic and surgery center by assisting with patient care, preparing for and supporting procedures, providing patient education, and collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, and the multidisciplinary care team. In this role, you will help ensure every patient receives exceptional, compassionate care at every step of their path to parenthood.
We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our dedicated team at Pinnacle Fertility - Arkansas in Bentonville, AR. This is a full-time, onsite position.
Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and check-in patients, verify medical history, and update their information.
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
  • Perform diagnostic tasks such as taking vital signs, drawing blood, and administering injections.
  • Prepare examination rooms and ensure equipment and supplies are stocked and ready.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Coordinate and schedule patient appointments, including follow-ups and referrals.
  • Educate patients on treatment plans, medication protocols, and preventive care measures.
  • May assist with in-office procedures and provide critical support during egg retrievals and other outpatient procedures.
  • May prepare, maintain, and assist within the Operating Room (OR), ensuring sterile technique, proper equipment setup, and smooth clinical flow.
  • Adhere to infection control and safety standards to maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Assist with inventory management and clinical supply ordering.
  • Respond to patient inquiries and provide outstanding customer service.
  • Perform other duties and support special projects as assigned.

Position Requirements
  • Education & Licensure:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Completion of a Medical Assistant program strongly preferred.
    • Maintain current BLS certification.

  • Experience & Skills:

    • Experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.
    • Phlebotomy experience is a plus.
    • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
    • Proficiency with computers and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
    • Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to empathize with patients.
